  • Manage Aveda Canada’s Creative Team and collaborate with international business units to design, produce and execute creative projects to represent the Brand’s mission across all platforms.

    • Produce and direct all technical aspects of large-scale shows including project budget, talent negotiations, set design, video and photo production, scripts, lighting and sound.

    • Manage production of all photo, video and creative content for shows; from creative concept to final edit.

  • Strategically plan and execute all aspects of marketing, sales and education events including technical production and scripts, production schedules, fiscal budgets, creative content, marketing production and on-site logistics.

    • Manage multiple concurrent projects with various departments and develop a strong understanding of all aspects of the project to ensure that communication is clear and that company-wide goals are met at each event.

    • Supervise local and national teams of 50 or more event staff and volunteers to ensure all contributors are prepared and that execution of each event is flawless and brand-aligned.

    • Plan, manage and execute meetings, conferences, fundraisers, media and destination events across North America for groups of 100 or more.

    • Accurately forecast and manage corporate budgets for company events and special projects ranging from $50,000 to $2,000,000 and maximize resources for all projects.

  • Aveda Earth Month is a national annual fundraising campaign to benefit WaterAid Canada, a non-profit organization that funds clean water projects in East Africa. The campaign engaged over 500 Aveda Salons in Canada and 700 corporate staff to raise an annual goal of $500,000.

    • Successfully raised over $5 million to-date through national consumer, client and staff initiatives.

    • Independently responsible for the creative development and direction of the campaign including marketing materials, digital tools, website and donor platform development, social media, merchandise and public relations.

    • Manage campaign budget and maximize donations to charity partner though strict expense controls and facilitation of sponsorships to execute a successful campaign.

    • Produce documentary-style campaign films designed to compel new and existing fundraisers and donors on a national scale.

    • Create and communicate campaign content that represents communities in need authentically and respectfully.
